So I’m driving the 2500HD around town doing some errands and this song called hunting, fishing, loving every day comes on the radio. I’m like Fuck Yeah, ‘Merica, Red, White and Blue, hit the gas spool up the turbos and suck down some dino juice.

Here’s the song. Just to be clear the Chevy is the only rig I drive that has country music stations programmed on the radio.

One of the main reasons I like having a truck is that it's one of the only places in New England where it's appropriate to listen to country music.

I live in the Southeast, so I can listen to country in whatever I want. Not Luke Bryan though. He lost that right 3 albums ago.

Well that’s obligitory in Nashville. I’d probably just stick to Cash and Hank Williams SR. I can’t stand modern country music.

I hate country radio. They play the same shitty pop songs on repeat. When I turn on country radio, I want to hear some steel guitar, fiddle, and maybe some banjo, not Sam Hunt’s fucking computer. Fuck him too, and Old Dominion, and Cole Swindell(he has a couple decent songs in context, but for the most part, nah), and Rascal Flatts, and, well I’ll stop now.

That’s Daily Drives a Dragon. I did use to live in Alabama, though I lived closer to Nashville than Birmingham, as I lived on the state line. I live in South Carolina now. I do miss the Tennessee Valley though.

No idea who the hell any of those (except Rascal Flatts) are. I gave up with new country in the mid 00's. I have XM so if I want country it's usually Outlaw Radio.

When I have access to XM, I listen to that or Bluegrass Junction. I will say something about Outlaw Country though, the other day they had a new host to fill in, and he was playing the Beatles and Elton John. I was confused.

Yeah I find it odd when that happens. Some classic rock makes sense, like CCR for example. Bluegrass is good too. Willie’s roadhouse is good as well. Prime country could be better.

Funny enough, I lived close enough to Nashville that I could get there in an hour even in the Slowrunner, but I’ve never actually been in Nashville.
